You all know chemo started two weeks ago. Here is a picture of me shooting up....chemo folks. So far its been alright. For all of you who don't know, I go in for treatment once every two weeks. that puts my next treatment tomorrow. (4OCT) The first one was not bad. The side effects are manageable and haven't kept me from doing anything I am going to do yet. I go in tomorrow to see the doctor and get my next treatment but the tumor seems to be very receptive. But I'll get the "official" word tomorrow. But don't be expecting an update too quickly. If the second round is anything like the first, I'll probably be sleeping for the next three days.
Last week I went up to Portland to see a doc up there who is helping me with the side effects of chemo. We found out a lot of good information and he gave me a bunch of stuff that should help. Again, I'll find out after tomorrow. One big adjustment is that I found out I am lactose intolerant. (no milk, cheese, butter, ice cream, good food, yogurt...) Its been a bit of a trip changing my diet but I'm figuring it out. The trip was good and I think the information and supplements are going to help out. And for all of you who care, we stayed in this motel.
And ate at this place. Probably the best seafood I've had.

I can't believe you can't eat dairy anymore. That's all you ever eat! ....besides hot wings ;)

I'm so glad to hear God's working through all of this. I've heard Chemo's no walk in the park - just want you to know I'm praying for you, and I miss you, man!!! It's been too long. Hope your Friday afternoon is filled with hope and energy and that you experience just how close the Lord has you.
